CAMCO Stock Certificate (1932)

CAMCO Stock Certificate. In 1929, the inventor Joseph J. Schermack, Jr. was named president of CAMCO, which combined several vending companies (including the Schermack Corporation of America) and had a capitalization of US$30 Million. The Great Depression interfered with the company’s grand plans and Schermack returned to Detroit, Michigan, USA in the early 1930s to work independenly as Joseph J. Schermack, Inc. and Schermack Products Corporation. Joseph J. Schermack was brother to my great-grandmother, Laura Schermack Blumenstiel and my great-great uncle. #familyhistory #detroit #detroithistory #schermackcompanies #schermackgenealogy #stampvendingmachine #stampcollection #stampcollector #genealogy #falknerjarrell #vending #vendingmachines #schermack #josephjschermack #ancestry #history #knowyouroots #antiquephotograph #patent #inventor #inventions #oldpatent #postalhistory #companyhistory #ancestor #camco #nyc #stockcertificate #stockcertificates
